The Nashville Natives





Hey everyone! 

I just wanted to introduce everyone to my side project called The Nashville Natives. 

The Nashville Natives originally started with three of my friends as a project for our Mass Media and Society Class. We however have been having so much fun with it that we plan to continue it on into the future. The blog is all about style in Nashville for young people. The four of us each have our own  distinct and different styles so it makes for a very interesting read. I'M BACK from my wee blogging hiatus, but I come bearing good news. Not only within the past month did I get married and move to Atlanta, ga but I then moved to Raleigh, NC. Crazy, I know! My husband (still so much fun to say) accepted a new position in Raleigh and we then had two weeks to quickly find an apartment, pack up all of our stuff and travel 6 hours to our new home. Life has been nothing short of insane, but I have loved every second of it. It is so fun to be settling into our new home with my husband and I can't wait to share peeks at our new place. This girl has been OBSESSED with home decor lately and you guys are going to reap the benefits:) Until the times comes I thought I would hold you over with an outfit post. This top from Asos is still one of my favorites and I wear it all the time. Anything involving lace and peplum gets an A+ in my book.

Happy Valentine's Day! What a sweet day to celebrate all of the love in the world. I am feeling especially happy today because is my first Valentine's day as a married woman:) I've got a few tricks up my sleeve to surprise that sweet husband of mine, hopefully it's all a success! I was recently sent this gorgeous velvet skater dress by Oasis and I knew it would be the perfect outfit for Valentine's Day. I decided to keep my accessories simple and amp up the look with a hot pink lip.
